Gatlinburg, Tennessee, area welcomes a new thrill in town. The Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster is now open to the public. Guests of all ages can enjoy the scenic alpine coaster experience when visiting Gatlinburg. In recent years, the popularity of mountain coasters has risen, and the public demand has continued to climb. With the addition of Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster, there are three different mountain coaster experiences available in Gatlinburg with two additional ones not far away in Pigeon Forge. Located off of Parkway, Rowdy Bear Mountain has a lot to offer guests with more thrills coming this fall.
About Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster
Guests can enjoy a single ride on this mountain coaster for $16 or pay $27 for a double ride. According to Rowdy Bear Mountain, “riders must be 10 years of age AND 56″ tall to ride alone.” Also, riders must not exceed 375lbs during dry conditions or 330lbs in wet weather conditions. Younger children can ride with a parent for $24 so long as their combined weight does not exceed the ride limits listed above. The mountain coaster staff offers group rates as well as amazing nighttime ride experiences where parts of the track are lit up.
