As part of Six Flags Over Georgia’s unveiling of Blue Hawk back in early June, the park announced that, in addition to a new ride experience, Six Flags wanted to find a great way to give back and say, “thank you,” to those who have served and to those who are serving in the military. In addition to Six Flags Over Georgia drawing inspiration from the military in the renovation and retheming of this attraction, Six Flags Over Georgia’s Park President, Dale Kaetzel, announced that military members would be able to skip the line on Blue Hawk during the month of July. Current and past members of the military will be able to show the ride operator(s) their military identification card or DD214 and bring one guest with them up the Flash Pass entrance area to ride Blue Hawk, essentially skipping the wait for the ride. With the Blue Hawk ride being much better than that experienced when the ride was operating as Ninja, this is a great thing. Thirty-one days of quicker ride opportunities on Blue Hawk have now commenced; you can count me in, and we encourage you to share this great information with your friends and family members of the military!
