Christmas is a time for all ages, it is especially time for the young ones! One of the best amusement parks for kids is Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. This theme park based completely on the great characters of Sesame Street offers a lot for children during the Christmas holiday season. Sesame Place celebrates “A Very Furry Christmas” until December 31, 2017. During this time, guests can enjoy various light displays, listen to live music, ride the Sesame Street Furry Express train, hangout with the Sesame Street characters, and even meet Santa Claus himself.
Rudolph Joins the Fun in 2017
New for 2017, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer spends the Christmas holiday season with the gang at Sesame Street. Including friends Clarice and Bumble, Rudolph is at the park each day, providing great photo opportunities during this magical season.
Many Great Christmas Shows
In 2017, the park is showcasing fun shows for guests of all ages. First, there is the 1-2-3 Christmas Tree Show. During the show, park guests experience great music and lighting with the centerpiece being an amazing and massive Christmas tree. While Sesame Street-themed Christmas music is played, the tree decorations put on quite the lighting show! Second, there is the Sesame Street Christmas Show. This show features Queens Abby who is not too familiar with the whole holiday traditions on Sesame Street. Together with the gang from Sesame Street, she learns all about Christmas spirit. What a perfect message for children. Third, there is the Elmo the Musical Live Christmas. When many guests think of Sesame Street, they think of Elmo; this Sesame Street favorite has his own show. With the help of Santa, Grover, and others, this show is a can’t miss! Fourth, there is the Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade. What would Christmas be without a parade. Featuring ten floats, this parade offers an interactive, energetic block party-like experience, perfect for guests young and old.
Special Dining Experiences
For those guests who are true Sesame Street fans, four unique dining experiences are available. These dining experiences are not included with general park admission, but they do provide some experiences not offered anywhere else. The Christmas Dine with Elmo and Friends is a great way to hang out with Santa and many favorite characters from Sesame Street. Dine with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer provides guests with a chance to eat with Rudolph, Clarice, and Bumble. Sweet Treats with Santa is perfect for those guests with a sweet tooth who are also looking to hang out with Santa. In addition to Santa, Elmo and the Cookie Monster help out to add the “icing on the cake.” Lastly, there’s only one way to countdown to 2018, and that’s with The Count!
