It will be the first of its kind when it opens in early 2017. Hersheypark’s Triple Tower allows guests to select the best drop tower attraction for them and their family members. No longer will thrill seekers in the United States be limited between tall drop attraction and kiddie drop attraction.
“Hersheypark is well-known for providing guests with rides and attractions that the entire family can enjoy and this new ride is sure to deliver,” said Kevin Stumpf, General Manager Attractions & Entertainment. “We are happy to be adding this new attraction that will offer families the opportunity to choose their level of thrill and enjoy panoramic views of the Park.”
With three drop tower choices in the Kissing Tower Hill section of Hersheypark, there are plenty of thrills for everybody! For those looking for smaller thrills, there is the Hershey’s Kisses Tower! The tower is 80 feet tall and allows 12 riders. This drop tower experience is a perfect warm up for the younger enthusiasts and for those not as big into heights or drop towers. Wanting to step it up a notch or two? No problem; Hersheypark has you covered. Their Reese’s Tower stands 131 feet tall and provides enough seats for 16 riders at a time. The tower offers a great variety of positive and negative G forces! Looking to drop even more? Hersheypark’s tallest drop tower option is its Hershey’s Tower. Standing a staggering 189 feet up into the sky, this drop tower provides a great view and drop experience for 20 riders at a time.
Manufactured by S&S Worldwide, this $8 million new attraction will take riders to a speed of approximately 45 miles per hour. Each drop tower will operate independently, each with its own queue line. Be sure to check back for more details and announcements in the weeks and months to come.
