The Halloween season is in full swing, and many haunt enthusiasts are making a continued effort to get out to their nearby Six Flags amusement park and take in their annual Fright Fest event. The Six Flags parks typically notice a seasonal increase in attendance during this time of the operating year and find the mixture of thrill rides and haunts offers a great value to park guests. Also, while the roller coasters and flat ride attractions tend to be the same each year, the haunts are often rotated, revamped, or replaced each year for Fright Fest. At many of the Six Flags properties, haunt-themed virtual reality (VR) coaster experience, Rage of the Gargoyles, has been added specifically for Fright Fest in 2016. Integrating new technologies like VR really adds a new dimension to the Halloween haunt experience.
