Coasting For Kids charity event is set to be held at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Saturday, September 9, 2017. With all proceeds from the event going to support Give Kids the World Village, the popular charity event allows enthusiasts to raise money for a great cause while being provided an opportunity to enjoy a day at Busch Gardens Williamsburg as well as two hours of exclusive ride privileges on three of the park’s most popular roller coasters – Invadr, Griffon, and Alpengeist. Busch Gardens is always a major contributor in the community, and this event brings together a partnership that makes a significant difference in the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses. Because of charity events like this one at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Give Kids The World Village is able to help those ill children enjoy a week away from hospital stays and medical treatments. Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed more than 154,000 families to its 84-acre “storybook” resort in Central Florida. Children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free vacations, complete with accommodations, donated attraction tickets, meals and more. Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Senior Communications Manager, Ron Vample, adds, “We’re extremely excited to be part of the return of this worthwhile fundraising event. What Coasting for Kids shows us is that you don’t have to be rich to make a difference in a child’s life.”
While time is running out on registration, there is still time to make a difference. To participate or donate and make a difference, visit the Coasting for Kids event webpage. Every little bit counts! This is an event that enthusiasts will not want to miss out on, and those who want to make a difference are encouraged to give what they can to help these amazing children.
