Update: Event was rescheduled for Friday, August 4, 2017, due to inclement weather on June 30, 2017. There’s still time to support Team Coaster Addict and, more importantly, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) is partnering back up with Six Flags Over Georgia to hold its sixth annual Coasterthon for kids. This year, the event will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017
June 30, 2017, and be superhero-themed – SuperHero CoasterTHON, providing participates with a challenging 6-hour marathon on Mind Bender! One of the favorite annual events held at Six Flags Over Georgia, this charity coaster marathon gives coaster enthusiasts a way to get many laps in on a classic steel roller coaster while also giving back to an amazing cause. For most enthusiasts, this is a welcoming, yet tough challenge, but it is important to not forget that this challenge is not very difficult when compared to the challenges faced by those brave girls and boys fighting for their lives at the hospital. Six Flags takes great pride in working with great organizations like CHOA and encourages all coaster enthusiasts to take up this superhero challenge. Can you last all 6 hours and help make a difference in the lives of children?
Team Coaster Addict also takes great pride in participating in this event each year. Many of our southeast region contributors jump at the opportunity to participate in this fun charity event. It is very near and dear to our hearts, and we too encourage you to participate and/or support this event if you are able.
